pictographic techniques to display icons instead of image. This is
helping us to tailor our Blog and website design. Instead of using image
Font Awesome made our site loading speed faster.
However Font Awesome is always getting a little awesome because of
its latest icon indexing process. Every time, Font Awesome releasing
their new version with new icons. So here’s I will show you what’s new
in the latest version, Font Awesome 4.5. Have some ideas for new
features.
In the latest version Font Awesome included extra 20 new icons which
is really important for website monetization. In their previous 4.4
version Font Awesome was included 66 brand new icons. Because by
including those icons now Font Awesome enriches their database. Among
new icons Bluetooth, percent, Shopping basket, USB and Font Awesome icon
is getting attention of the users. In addition some social icons
included like reddit alien and scribe. I hope Font Awesome will include
more icons soon thus it can be a complete resource of pictographic

Creator of Font icons Awesome Dave Gandy have just released new version of Font Awesome Icons. These new icons contain
- All Updated versions of Google icons.
- Apart from Google icons 20 new icons included.
How to add Font Awesome in Blogger template?
I have already shown in my previous post. The system is almost same.
And the new style sheet can be used by adding Font Awesome URL in your
Blogger template. Just follow the below steps-
Step 1 Go to
https://www.blogger.com and Sign in to your account
Step 2 From
Blogger Dashboard click on
->Template ->Edit HTML
Step 3 And locate the
<head> section in your Blogger template
Step 4 Finally copy following line of markup and paste it below
<head>
<link href=’//netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.5.0/css/font-awesome.min.css’ rel=’stylesheet’/>
Or
<link
href=’https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.5.0/css/font-awesome.min.css’
rel=’stylesheet’ type=’text/css’/>
Step 5 Now simply hit the
Save button.
How to upgrade Font Awesome 4.4 to 4.5?
This is a generic technique to upgrade older version to newer Font Awesome version. Just follow the below steps-
Step 1 Go to
https://www.blogger.com and Sign in to your account
Step 2 From
Blogger Dashboard click on
->Template ->Edit HTML
Step 3 And locate the Font Awesome 4.4 URL section in your Blogger template. Just like below-
<link href=’//netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/
4.4.0/css/font-awesome.min.css’ rel=’stylesheet’/>
Step 4 Now change the
4.4.0 to
4.5.0 that’s it. Your Font Awesome will be turn into newer version.
Step 5 Finally simply hit the
Save button.
